Our wood yoga blocks are made from rosewood, a beautiful hardwood from the Shisham tree in India. The blocks are a rich, dark brown, with the grain clearly visible in each block. The edges on all blocks are beveled for added comfort. These blocks are available in either solid or hollow style. The solid blocks are a single piece of dense hardwood, and heavy a very solid feel to them. The hollow blocks are made from multiple pieces of the same rosewood, carefully glued together to form a hollow block. Some practitioners prefer the hollow blocks because they are lighter, while others prefer the dense, heavy feel of the solid blocks. The block measures 3" x 6" x 9". It's also available in 4" thickness as well, both solid and hollow style.
